Brian is an LPL Registered Securities Principal. He holds the Series 7, 24, 63, and 65 securities registrations with LPL Financial, as well as Life Insurance licenses.
Growing up in San Luis Obispo, Brian attended California Polytechnic State University, graduating in 1996. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Management. While at Cal Poly his senior year, he helped manage their College of Business and Foundation investment accounts. Upon graduation, he started working for Everen Securities in February 1997. In 2003, he moved to LPL Financial under the DBA Summit Investment Group.
Brian was involved with the Kiwanis de Tolosa service club for 13 years until the group dissolved. He has also been assistant high school football coach at both San Luis Obispo High School and Mission College Prep. Currently, he is coaching his kids in soccer at the Atascadero Youth levels. Brian is also actively involved with his Church in Santa Margarita.
During his free time, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife Kelly and two children, son Benjamin and daughter Cameron. His hobbies include BBQing, camping, and pretty much any sport. Anything that is outdoors and challenging will catch his attention.
Brian started his career with a great interest in the stock market and investing. Fast forward to current day, although this passion for investing hasn’t waned, he finds the most rewarding part of this business is helping his clients pursue their financial goals.
